I know. Lots of people have made a change. Lots of people have tried to do good things and maybe they got tired. Maybe they were too alone. Maybe they didn’t know how.

According the World Heath Organization (WHO), only 20% of people with a common mental health condition receive treatment, and only 10% receiving adequate treatment.
Low- and middle-income countries face even more barriers.
But we can help. Together.
The Orenda Project was created in response to the global gap in access to trauma-informed mental health supports.
The WHO recognizes the need for more helpers and their recommendation is “task sharing,” which means that we can rely on those without a college degree to do the tasks that do not require that level of education.
Orenda offers several learning options depending on your goal.
- Certificate of Completion: A pre-recorded video along with activities to help you learn about trauma. Maybe you have a loved one who has experienced trauma or has post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). Maybe you love learning. Maybe you want to know what to say and what not to say. Maybe you just care.
- Trauma Coach Certification 100% online: A combination of a pre-recorded video, assignments, and monthly live classes to practice what you are learning while you build community. Make lifelong friends, learn with people from all over the world, and build your career as a trauma coach.
- Trauma Coach Certification – Retreat Style: Our first of these events will be held in South Africa!!!! Here you will earn your Trauma Coach Certification, practice your skills with others live and in-person, and you will walk away with friendships that will last a lifetime. This is an opportunity to take care of yourself, learn something new, and prepare to launch your coaching career!
